About us
The intention of the HARMONY UNION is to protect workers and students (where the students course includes work placement) employment rights throughout the United Kingdom.
Harmony Union evolved from front line experiences obtained in supporting workers when Rev. Dr. Warren B. Leigh was chairman of the Workers of Wales Union (part of the Workers of England Union).
During this time Warren and a team of union reps and consultants provided free weekly legal guidelines to thousands of workers empowering the worker with their legal rights, which removed their fear and provided confidence to handle imposing management attitudes.
Warren and a team of Employment Advisors attended numerous investigation, grievance, disciplinary and appeal meetings when representing care home workers, nurses, physiotherapist, teachers, admins and many others against over-zealous managers who would not acknowledge or respect statute legislation on employment or human rights.
Warren stepped down as chairman of the Workers of Wales Union to start Harmony Union Ltd, an independent not for profit company. We have a team of employment advisers, paralegals, health and Safety consultants that support our members.
We offer representation with mediation to encourage suitable and amicable solutions in resolving disputed matters between employees and employers.
Harmony Union Operates as a membership organisation by subscription to offer employee representation.
We are non-profit company
The Harmony Union Ltd is a not for profit company which is not for the financial benefit of any individual or board of directors.
